So Kat decided to play it the way it sounded and became the new bad girl on the circuit. But that meant losing endorsements, possibly her coach and her agent decided to send her to a place he felt he could get her some help. What she doesn’t expect is to find herself in another way that maybe it isn’t just her ex that is leading to the bad girl image but also others. It takes not only Michael to help her realize it but also her new coach and trainer.Michael Lambert is a member of the Bobcats and always admitted by the newbies because he has this sense to get them semi-settled down and back on track with football. So when his agent calls him to help out yet again at fixing someone, he thinks he is getting a teenager. When he meets Kat he is blown away in more ways than one. Is she really the bad girl that everyone thinks she is or maybe what she is saying is true and she had no idea about the sex tape? What about him, he is really that big and tough guy on the outside or is he a big teddy bear?
Some don’t believe that love can happen quickly but it truly can when some factors are met. This was a little bit different in Jeanette’s series, definitely out of the box. It was a good romance but I know for some it will not catch their eye at all because you do have to actually know a few things first about Jeanette. All in all I loved it.

Sometimes, well, quite often really, there is a series or a book that just seems to mesmerize me. Is it the compelling characters? The finding of love in all its many shapes and forms? The suspense? The humour? If I’m lucky it is a combination of all the above and this series ticks all the boxes with each instalment offering the feeling of family and camaraderie while love is in the air! This time out it is Michael’s turn to find his partner and Katrina Kelly is a surprise to everyone…
Kat is a professional tennis player who, after years of doing the right thing, is suddenly the pariah of the courts. Determined to live up to her ill-deserved reputation, she is soon on the outs with her coach and her agent. Michael Lambert is known as the rookie-whisperer and is always willing to lend his experience to help newbies find their feet in the world of professional football. Suddenly faced with a young tennis player of all things, he is puzzled but then very, very intrigued…
I expected to have a hard time liking Kat’s character given her seemingly reckless and cavalier attitude to the threat on her privileged life. In reality, she was warm, hardworking and railing against a reputation she did not deserve. While the situations she found herself in were often over the top, how she bounced back and treated Michael and the Bobcat family soon had me on #TeamKat all the way!
Michael wasn’t sure how to deal with this unexpected force that was Kat and it was beyond entertaining to watch him fall under her spell. The chemistry ricocheted all around as passion and humour swirled amidst growing respect. I loved Kat’s interactions with the Bobcat players and their significant others – she was funny and the opposite of a diva in every way. As Michael gave her the support she needed to succeed, well, it was #TeamMiKat from now on.
Another great story in this series that I hope never runs out of players!

I loved this story. I like the fact that all the previous characters continue throughout each story. Michael and Kat have a cute story. I loved Kat's attitude and Michael's protectiveness
I have LOVED this series....but I think this one missed the mark. I disliked the heroine to the point of not wanting to finish the book. But the hero was great as well as the other characters from the previous books. I look forward to the next book in the series.....hoping it will be as great as the other ones before this one.
I love reading the continuing story of each character in the Bobcat family. Micheal isn't your typical player. He is the sensible one so when his agent pairs him with someone to mentor who is a little more pkayful than he is use to can he hack it?
This book. The wining. Ok....there is love at first sight. But everything she does.... I would have locked her in her own apartment. The football guys were cool. Her new coach was the best thing out of this book. Oh...sorry and was also the camp for kids. For me a bit slow. If you like tennis, football, more slow story.....This is your book. Not mine.
I enjoyed the people in the book and the story was ok. Not sure why the author felt the story had to be rushed over 3 weeks as it would have been much better over a longer period.
The one thing that really detracts from the book was the author's overuse of the phrase 'he/she rolled his/her eyes". Every few pages, there it was, usually adding nothing to the scene.
The Santa Fe bobcats series is a preorder series for me - as soon as I finish one, I have to preorder the next because I'm so afraid I will miss out.
I'm not disappointed in this one either. This is the story of Michael, who seems to be a calming influence on EVERYONE he knows and Kat Kelly, a tennis pro who seems to have everything going wrong in her life. Kat lives her life normally, yet everything she does gets taken out of context and, while a normal person who isn't famous would not be given a second glance in doing those things, she's raked over the coals and turned into a media joke. Insert Michael - they share an agent and that agent wants him to "fix" Kat.
These two were fun. Their banter was amusing and the storyline, albeit predictable, was well written, well thought out and just, quite simply, good. I highly recommend this entire series!
